  1. Introduction

These Payment Terms & Conditions outline how fees are charged, when payments are due, and the responsibilities of patients receiving treatment at TP Podiatry. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

  1. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

– Debit or credit card

– Cash

– Bank transfer (if arranged in advance)

– Online payment (if applicable)

Payment is due on the day of treatment unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  1. Appointment Fees

A full list of treatment fees is available on our website or upon request.

Fees may vary depending on:

– Duration of appointment

– Type of treatment

– Specialist procedures

– Consumables or lab services

You will always be informed of costs before treatment is carried out.

  1. Deposits

TP Podiatry may require a deposit for certain appointments, including new patient assessments, extended consultations, nail surgery, or orthotics assessments. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend.

  1. Failed Appointments & Late Cancellations

– Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the appointment cost.

– Failure to attend may result in the full appointment fee being charged.

– Repeat late cancellations or missed appointments may require pre-payment for future bookings.

  1. Late Payments

If payment is not made on the day:

– An invoice will be issued with a 7-day payment period.

– Overdue invoices may incur a £10 late payment fee.

– Continued non-payment may result in suspension of appointments and referral to debt recovery.

  1. Insurance & Third-Party Payments

If claiming via private medical insurance:

– Payment may be required up-front.

– Patients must confirm their own coverage.

– Any unpaid amounts remain the patient’s responsibility.

We do not invoice the NHS or provide free treatment.

  1. Refunds

Refunds are provided only when:

– A service has not been delivered

– A clerical error has occurred

– A product is unopened and returned within 14 days

Refunds are not given for missed appointments or custom-made items (e.g., orthotics).

  1. Orthotics, Insoles & Custom Devices

For all custom-made or prescription devices:

– Full or part payment may be required before ordering

– Items are non-returnable and non-refundable

– Adjustments may be offered if clinically appropriate

  1. Product Sales

Products must be paid for at the time of purchase.

We do not accept returns on opened medical products.

  1. Changes to Fees

TP Podiatry may update fees with reasonable notice. Latest prices are available in clinic and online.
